Kontrol Mega Moisture Trap
The excellent Kontrol mega moisture trap. Based on teh original streamline moisture trap, but with double teh capacity (2L) and it uses the easy to use refill tabs rather than krystals.
This holds the class leading Kontrol tabz in a stylish and compact container. The container has been designed to fit on shelves and window ledges making it easy to place exactly where you need to.
The container shows water lewel marks up to 2000ml in 250ml increments. It comes complete with a set of Krystals so you can start using it straight away.
The lid is lockable to avoid accidental spillage and is easily refilled using the Kontrol refill tabz.
How they work:
Kontrol Crystals Anhydrous flakes of calcium chloride (CaCI), have a high affinity to water and readily attract excess humidity from the air by a simple chemical process.
When used in a moisture trap the krystals begin to coagulate (sometimes developing a discoloured crust) and eventually, after a few weeks and depending on levels of humidity/dampness,
liquid will begin to collect in the base of the moisture trap. Kontrol crystals will continue to function effectively for up to 2-3 months after exposure to the surrounding air.
For optimum results place the moisture trap into areas where there is a damp or moisture problem, replacing the krystals when the process is complete.
