Delivery & Returns

Delivery Address Information:
Delivery can be to any address as long as the address at which your payment card is registered is also present on your order. All deliveries must be signed for. Please make sure you keep the receipt enclosed (or attached to the box) with your goods. This is your guarantee.
Payments Accepted:
Visa, Mastercard, One for All Vouchers, Me2You Vouchers, Paypal, Cash, Company Cheques, Purchase Orders for large purchases & Bank Transfers.
Delivery Charges:
When you add products to your Shopping Basket, the appropriate delivery charge will be added automatically. You will always be able to see this charge before submitting your order. The Basket price is regardless  of how much or how little you add to your basket with the exception if you add an item which is a heavy item which might have a surcharge. An inexpensive small item on it’s own is expensive to deliver! 
If you add a product which already has free delivery then your entire order will also be delivered free.
Standard Delivery Charge  – And it can take 1-2 Working Days to deliver anywhere in Ireland.
Larger items or heavier goods have a larger delivery rate this is unavoidable. However you can collect items from our shop any day we are open.
Pallet Delivery Charge is from approx: €60.00 – Gas Griddle Machine (Very Heavy Equipment which is too heavy for any driver to lift)
Extra Surcharge fees may apply to specific products such as Kayaks, Hog Roast Machines & PVC Marquees as they are too long for a pallet and yet also too heavy to lift. (Please call if you wish to get a precise cost on delivery)

Delivery Times:
All delivery timescales are subject to product and delivery slot availability. Delivery is in most cases the next working day subject to availability. As general rule orders made from Monday to Friday will be delivered to you the customer the next working day once your order is placed before 1pm. Orders placed after 1pm will not leave our premises until the following working day (therefore it may then take 2 working days). Most deliveries are affected the following day! In the event of a misdirect delivery can take longer.
Off Peak Season Deliveries:
O’Meara Camping from September – January each year close Sunday & Monday. Orders placed on a Monday during this period will take up to 2 working days to receive.

Delivery Company:
O’Meara Camping use DPD as our delivery company and you will be able to track your order online at O’Meara Camping are unable to offer a precise time of delivery. Delivery will be between the hours of 7am and 6pm; we are unable to confirm a time.

As a general rule! The more urgent the delivery the greater is the chance of delay! Do please allow a few days.

Note: Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and O’Meara Camping Ireland shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date. The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the customer upon delivery of such goods to the customer.

You will only pay one delivery charge per order, which will be the highest depending on the contents of your order. When you have added items to your shopping basket, the standard delivery charge for those products will be automatically applied to your order.

Force Majeure
O’Meara Camping Ireland shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.


If you’re unhappy with your purchase, please let us know. Unless faulty, this must be within 14 days and you should return the goods to us, preferably to the original store of purchase and at your cost.

If the unwanted item is returned as sold and is accompanied by the original receipt within a 14 day period, we can refund you in full by the original payment method, or offer you an exchange, or O’Meara Camping Credit Note. If the original purchase was made with a credit/debit card, that card must be physically present and available when the refund is made.

Unfortunately, refunds will be refused for items returned without an original receipt.

We reserve the right to refuse a return under this policy, if the goods are not in a re-saleable, as sold condition. As sold condition means that the goods are unopened, are in original packaging with all documentation, and the item and it’s packaging are undamaged and unused.

We do not offer refunds or exchanges on clearance/ex-display/sold-as-seen items. 

We cannot refund your purchase if the goods were a special order to your specification, or if goods that were ordered are not an item we normally carry. 

Please note that in the interests of hygiene and for safety reasons Portable Chemical Toilets & Sleeping Bags are non-refundable:

If the return is due to missing or faulty parts then we will offer a full refund or replacement provided we are aware of this within 10 working days.

Any refund, which is due to a fault or other defect, will include a refund of the applicable delivery charge.

Cooling-off period (Online Purchases Only)
When you purchase online or by phone you have a statutory right to return unopened goods (other than perishable or customised) up to 14 days after receiving your order: this is the cooling-off period (European Directive on Distance Selling). We can change or cancel an order up until it is dispatched. If the order has been dispatched, you can return the unopened goods to us and we will organise a refund (excluding delivery cost).

Faulty Goods:
If you are unfortunate enough to receive a product which was faulty then please contact us as soon as possible. We do not offer a collection service therefore it is up to you the customer to get your faulty product back to us for review. If the product is faulty and within your warranty, we will offer you a replacement or refund. Tents must be erected and checked before leaving home. A faulty tent may not be faulty but O’Meara’s will have to have time to check the tent. In High season this could take a few weeks. All campers should erect and check their tents before going away.

Cancellation of Orders
You are able to cancel your order prior to shipping with no cost penalty being incurred and full credit of your account if monies have already been taken. You can cancel an order by following the links on the O’Meara Camping Ireland website, or by phoning us on 00-353-14534070. However if your order has already been dispatched you can return the goods to us and we will organize a refund (excluding delivery cost).

All orders taken before 1pm O’Meara’s will try and process and sent out for delivery by 2-30 pm the same day. Monday-Friday. Delivery is next working day subject to opening hours of O’Meara Camping. And subject to no errors occurring during dispatch with our courier company.
