7 Pin plug for tow bar connection:
The 7 pin plug is generally fitted to a trailer, trailer tent or caravan.
The 7 pin plug carries the electricity for external towing lights from the towing vehicle to the car.
The wiring of this plug is also set out in the wiring diagram.
The use of more electrical fittings like fridges and other 12 volt appliances has necessitated the addition of a secondary power plug and that is separately described.
