The Dometic Residence AIR All-Season is the ultimate inflatable awning that provides full caravan coverage to double the usable space of your pitch.
Available in A measurement sizes from 13 to 18 (equivalent to 950 – 1100cm) the Residence full awning can be fitted to the vast majority of vans and features an integrated inflatable canopy, zipped external window blinds and removable front and side panels.
It has been constructed from Dometic’s breathable Weathershield™ All-Season polycotton material to ensure it is built to last and offers superb protection from the elements – great for long site stays at any time of year.
The Residence AIR full awning is 275cm deep and boasts a huge living space so you can really maximise your pitch when on the campsite.
It features Dometic’s patented Dual Pitch Roof System, which not only increases water flow off the roof of the awning but also creates a more spacious and airy feel inside the Residence.
Oversized 15cm tubes ensure the inflatable structure of the awning remains rigid and extremely robust when pitched. Not only is the Air Frame extremely strong, it can flex in the wind too, meaning you’ll never break or bend a pole unlike traditional full awnings.
As well as an incredibly strong air frame the Residence AIR is an absolute dream to pitch, simply unscrew the single point inflation valve cap, connect the supplied 12V gale pump, set the pressure to 10psi and the awning will be inflated in no time.
When your holiday has come to an end, the awning can be packed away just as fast – simply open the multiple deflation points.
The Dometic Residence AIR All-Season material is a high quality, durable polycotton fabric that is a great option for those on a seasonal pitch and for touring in both warm and colder climates,
the mix of polyester and cotton materials allows air to pass through, greatly reducing condensation and regulating the awning interior temperature on hot days.
The All-Season material is more resistant to UV rays, which allows it to be used for longer periods at a time compared to standard touring awnings. However, we would recommend removing the draught skirt when the awning is left unattended to increase airflow.
The Residence can be made more manageable by zipping out the front and side panels, this makes it easier when feeding the awning directly through the awning rail and as the awning comes in two separate bas you can distribute the weight and size around the caravan to suit your storage needs.
External blinds can be zipped up to protect the windows and offer privacy when needed.
