Showcasing all that's best in Kampa tents, the Studland offers supreme accommodation for up to eight people.
Despite its size the Studland is as easy to set up as all our AirFrame tents - peg the four corners, inflate the AirFrame, secure the immediate pegging points and guy lines - that's it. The six berth inner tent sits at the back of the tent and can be divided into three separate bedrooms if required. A separate two berth inner tent sits in the front of the living area and can be set up or taken down as required - increasing sleeping accommodation or living space accordingly.
The large living room has plenty of headroom making it feel spacious and the fully sewn-in groundsheet will keep you protected. There's two side doors into the main living room, both with mesh screen panels and one with a canopy to allow access during inclement weather. The front panel of the living room can be used as a door or completely rolled back to give unhindered access to the large enclosed front vestibule area. The front panel of the porch area mimics the living area panel and can be progressively rolled back until fully open. The vestibule area has a toggle-in tub groundsheet that can be used if required. All side windows feature airflow vents that can be opened in hot weather. The Kampa Studland 8 Air Pro Range 2019 Model is a 8-berth Air tent which has a large living area and an additional porch that has a detachable bathtub groundsheet. Plenty of extras are available for this model please see below.

Like all Kampa Air Frame tents, the Studland can be inflated in just minutes and, once set up, it provides one of the most stable and weather resistant tents on the market. The Studland has three distinct areas - bedrooms, living and canopy, all of which can be opened up to each other or used as independent areas, making this tent truly versatile. For instance, the canopy can be used as a 'wet' area meaning that nothing wet need ever reach the main living area. The main living area can also be accessed through a wet weather door on the right hand side and a standard door on the left. Both side doors have a secondary mesh screen to allow for good airflow on warmer days.
The tent has the fully sewn in groundsheet to keep the weather and bugs out and the warmth in. Inside you’ll find a large inner tent that, if required, can be divided into three bedrooms by using the zipped privacy curtain. This inner tent has loads of storage, both in the interior pockets and also in the organiser built into the front.
The porch comes with a groundsheet that can be clipped in or left out depending on your requirements and, to provide the ultimate ventilation on really hot days, extra ventilation can be found at the front and rear of the tent.
The Studland 8 AIR is manufactured from heavy duty 150D polyester that we call Weathershield because of the superb protection it gives from the weather. We invite you to compare it with any other tents on the market and 'feel the difference'.
The canvas on the Kampa Studland 8 Air is made from ‘Feel the difference’ heavy duty 150D Weathershield polyester that has a hydrostatic head of 6000mm, it also has fully taped seams to make it completely waterproof. This quality canvas is fire retardant and also UV protected.
Instead of poles this tent has five robust Tubes Of Air. It has full head height throughout due to the five full head height beams being pre-bent, so the walls of the tent stand more upright which provides more usable living space at the sides. Each air tube is encased in two protective layers to ensure that they are incredibly tough to puncture. When the Studland Air is fully erected it measures an impressive 8.05 m x 4.6m.
The living area on the Kampa Studland 8 air is huge, with three doorways leading into it. It has a large roll-aside door at the front, underneath the canopy; a roll-up panel door to one side and another door on the opposite side which has a wet weather protection canopy. Both of the side doors also have secondary mesh doors to increase ventilation on hot days. The Studland 8 air features a fully sewn-in groundsheet throughout the bedroom and living area which helps keep the tent warm and prevents dust and dirt getting in.
The living area is kept naturally bright by the four large windows and also the extra two windows on the porch area. Each of the windows in the living area have curtains, so if you want some privacy, simply clip them up.
The middle wall panel can be half opened or fully opened depending on which way you prefer. From there it leads you out into the porch area that has a separate toggle in groundsheet. The porch has large front door which can be rolled all the way to the side to create a fantastic canopy which is perfect for storage, sitting under or for use as a cooking area.
The Studland 8 Air Pro Range sleeps 8 adults comfortably. It has a one large 6-berth inner at the rear of the tent with a curtain divider, which creates a 2+2+2 configuration and an additional 2 berth bedroom in the living area. The inners are made from breathable polyester and feature organiser pockets on the front for extra storage. These inners stay in-situ for set up and take down, so no more wasting time clipping them up and down every time you go away.
From start to finish this tent can be pitched in 15 minutes, which considering the size of the tent is amazing.
