Retaining all the features of the poled version, the inflatable Hayling 6 Classic AIR Pro Range comes with some superb new features including polycotton material and an enclosed front porch.
Air Tent Important Information. Please Read. Click Here.
Over the years the Hayling has become a firm favourite with campers across Europe and its success is due to its exceptional specification at a truly remarkable price and the inflatable version does not disappoint in either category. Set up is as easy as our other AirFrame tents - peg the tent down and pump up the Air Poles - simple.
Once set up there's loads of living space for a family. The rear bedrooms feature a zipped partition between the compartments that can be rolled up to make one large bedroom. There's a large living area with a sewn-in groundsheet and a large door in the left hand side with a mosquito mesh screen panel that can be used to keep the bugs out on warm days. The living area has a horizontal front wall that allows full use of the floor area giving so much more space than a sloping front wall. The outstanding feature of this tent is the large built-in front canopy protecting the front door from inclement weather and providing loads of covered living space.
Materials: Weathershield™ Airflow Classic polycotton - A breathable high quality polycotton material that provides all the protection of our polyester materials whilst also offering superior comfort. Our Classic material allows the tent to breathe which reduces condensation and helps regulate the temperature keeping the inside of the tent cooler on warm days. Don't be fooled by the coated polycotton materials used by some manufacturers as the coating prevents the material from breathing and therefore removes the benefits.
Sewn-in Groundsheet - PE 10 x 10 130 g/m² 10,000 mm HH
Frame: Inflatable - external inflation points.

The Kampa Hayling 6 Air Pro Classic tent is brand new to 2018. We took the video above at the Kampa show. They displayed this Hayling 6 Pro Classic with the new Optional zip on canopy attached to it and it made the tent so much bigger. The polycotton fabric makes every model that Kampa have look much more luxurious.
The Hayling has a large living space approx 2.8m x 3.8m + a Canopy to the front approx 3.8m x 1.3m. Plenty of head room 210cm = 6' 8". The Hayling is called a 6 berth tent.
Door to the front opens up fully and flat so no tripping in and out of your tent. New for the 2018 models onwards they now have a secondary mesh door at this front door for you to ventilate your tent or keep the bugs out and yet allow that needed breeze in.Buggy will wheel in. I prefer this when you have young kids as no falls.
This Hayling 6 tent has an optional Zip on Canopy & Zip on Vestibule which is new to the Pro model only. The vestibule would increase your living / storage space. We used the canopy a lot when we took away the sample. If the weather was nice you tend to sit outside as much as you can. As far as we can tell with the New Hayling 6 Pro Air tent you could zip on 1,2 or even 3 canopies you liked making the Hayling 6 Pro tent the only tent that Kampa supply that can be extended and extended to suit your needs. Having seen this tent up with 1 Canopy attached i think that it would be plenty.
Most importantly this tent is made of Polycotton.
If camping anywhere hot especially on the continent polycotton is the tent type to be looking at. If you camped before in heat you would have noticed that the normal polyester tents get very hot inside you can only ventilate by opening any doors or windows to allow the air to circulate. Most people if they buy a polyester tent tend to stay out of their tent when it's hot. If you buy this tent however been made of polycotton the tent remains much cooler in heat. I own a polycotton tent myself I tend to use it if I am camping in France or if I know the weather is going to be very hot. When my kids were young they would have to go for a nap during the day if I let them sleep in a polyester tent they would have wet hair from sweat or be dehydrated after their sleep so you would need to let kids sleep in a buggy instead outside or in shade. But with a polycotton tent it is cooler inside so sleeping with the doors still open of course it would be much more pleasant for everyone.
Years ago most tents were made with Cotton. But this became extremely expensive to manufacture so Polyester tents came on the market. The Kampa Croyde 6 tent is a mix of the two materials (Cotton & Polyester) called Polycotton. Polycotton has a longer life span. Warmer at night and cooler during the day (Breathable Material). It does get wet easily and therefore take longer to dry. Each tent has it's pros and cons.
As with all AIR models each tent comes supplied with its own double action air pump. 12 volt or mains pumps are not to be used on these tents. Once this tent is pegged and in position it would only take 5-8 minutes to pump it up. Super easy.
I would give this tent a rating of 10/10.
