Portable Toilets:

Essentially chemicals are used to break down human waste in a hygenic fashion. A modern chemical toilet does exactly the same thing but with the addition of separate compartments it has been possible to separate fresh and waste water. Bucket toilets operate as the name suggests with a simple bucket in to which chemical is added. Flushing toilets have a  sealed "bucket" area that chemical is added but in addition have a second compartment from which it is possible to flush fresh water in to the bowl and help to clean it. O Meara Camping have a range of toilets in both designs. Of recent years fluid to add to the flushing water has been added to the chemical range as has fast dissolving toilet paper. Flushing chemical toilets are ideal as a commode and can be used in a bedroom safely and securely. For ease of flushing some of the toilets have a battery operated pump to flush water from one compartment to the other.
