The larger centre Unit is perfect for a furniture type business as it previously traded as a furniture shop. Bridgefoot Street is just off Thomas Street and directly opposite St Catherine's church. The corner shop is open and  has an interesting display of "Pre Owned" Furniture of high quality.

The shop units occupy the space of our old shop in Bridgefoot St where we traded for many years successfully prior to re development and our shop reducing dramatically in size.

The Mid terrace unit that is still available is 132.4 sq metres with an additional useful corner space of 14 sq metres approx. O Meara Camping occupied the two units prior to the re development and have first hand knowledge of the Street and the area.

The history of Bridgefoot Street is also interesting. Bridgefoot Street was first used on the Ordnance Survey map in 1838. Previous to that the name used was "Dirty Lane" In and beside the actual unit now for letting was occupied in 1839 by Vintners, Wholesale Iron and Steel and Brass Merchants, Harness Makers. An examination of Thom's Directories shows that the street over the 19th and 20th centuries has been a busy business area.

There were many smaller business comprising of Soap, Candle and Starch Manufacturers, Soda Water makers, Victuallers and Bakers. In 1849 there were Turner, Cart Maker, "Tenements" and a Salt Maker. In 1859 a Chain Maker and a Salt Maker. From 1901- A Altmann & Co had a Table and Salt works. From 1930 to 1960 The Dublin Salt Co. Ltd occupied the premises. Of more recent times the premises which is now only part of a larger premises was, a Wholesale Electrical Distribution premises, followed by Domain Furniture, followed by O'Meara Camping up to the present time.
