Marquee "Party" tents are a fantastic product provided you choose the correct model for your purposes. Pretty much most of the party tents on the market come with 38 mm frames with the exception of heavy duty party tents that come with either heavier steel in 38 mm or thicker 48 mm frames. It is the quality of the steel and the thickness of steel in the 38 mm frame that differentiates the quality. The Internet allows all our competitors to claim that their party tents are the best quality. They most certainly are not all as good, and some are, to put it gently, considerably worse. During 2008 O Meara Camping withdrew one range of party tent as we felt all it would do is cause trouble. The poles were 38 mm, but the thickness and weight of the frame were dramatically different to our own framework. O Meara Camping, to my knowledge, are the only retailer in Ireland directly importing their own range of "Party" marquee tents. The frames are guaranteed for two years and we are on hand to solve any problems. Of the party tents O Meara Camping have imported we have purposely imported differing qualities. We tell you that. This difference in quality / price allows us to compete with the pretenders and beat them on price. O Meara Camping also offer in almost all cases proper tie down kits, free delivery, frame guarantee and display our tents so you can touch and feel them. O Meara's believe they are the best value about and unlike many companies we actually answer the phone and tell you about our products. Ground bar sets are supplied with some party tents and with others they are not. O Meara Camping supply most of their party tents without ground bars. Ground bars are an additional complication in erecting a party tent, are in some cases they are a tripping hazard. Ground bars are not suitable or intended to hold the tent down. The use of ground bars on hard standing will not help you if the wind blows. Tie down kits are essential no matter where a party tent is used and must be used also with a tent with ground bars.

Both the roof and walls are constructed from a heavy duty PE material.
Extra strong steel frame of 38mm diameter. Frame is guaranteed for two years.
Corner angles are 36mm diameter.
Quickly erected or dismantled.
Heavy duty zips.
Tie- Down kits which anchors the frame securely to the ground. Recommended!
As a rule one set of Tie Downs for each 2 metre section of structure. These Tie-Down Kits are illustrated below. Tie down kits are available for 25.

The 12*6 is supplied with the extra straps and heavy duty pegs. The 12 * 6 is also supplied with special heavy duty Pile Driver pegs for the legs and the side walls in addition to the pegs supplied as standard. Rubber bands are also supplied in our specially prepared box of extras that we think are necessary for Irish weather! This really is a superior tent.

Warning: Steel prices have risen dramatically and almost all suppliers of party tents have either increased their prices dramatically or reduced the thickness of the steel in the frames of their party tents. A reduction in the amount of steel does give as much as 30% of a price advantage. O Meara camping purchase party tents both from intermediaries and directly from the factories. The difference in the quality of the frames of some samples has caused us to withdraw from the suppliers of some of the tents. Most Irish people understand that you can have the same diameter of pole in two similar tents yet the weight of the steel in the pole is what determines the strength. For 2010 O' Meara Camping has opted for the better quality tent.

All shelters need to be tied down properly on both soft and hard ground. Even the Industrial shelter and especially the side walls will be torn if the wind blows strongly.Tie Down Kits. Supplied free with all but our budget range. Our budget range is priced to compete with all comers. Tie down kits and delivery are normally not extra but to keep our budget price as low as possible we have excluded them for this range only. Tie down kits by three and carriage to your door add 100 to the price of our budget range. Use the tie down kits at alll times O'Meara Camping guarantee the budget range frame for 12 months but unconditionally guarantee the frames of their other Party Tents. You break we replace free!
Arro Eyelets. Supplied free if side walls don't have eyelets in them. If eyelets are supplied use them and the rubber bands through them. It works.
