Measuring a Caravan to determine the Awning Size:

Measuring your Caravan to determine the size of the awning required to properly fit your caravan.

Is it important for you that the awning that you purchase for your caravan, fits correctly ?

In order to determine the correct awning size for your caravan awning, you must first measure the ground to ground length, from the ground at one side (Point A)  through the caravan awning rail to the ground at the other side (Point B). As shown in the illustration above.

Awning Size:  A to B Measurement  Van Length
A 665 to 700cm 10 foot
B 700 - 735cm 11 foot
C 735 - 770cm 12 foot
D 770 - 805cm 13 foot
E 805 - 840cm 14 foot
F 840 - 875cm 15 foot
G 875 - 910cm 16 foot
H 910 - 945cm 17 foot
I 945 - 980cm 18 foot
J 980 - 1015cm 19 foot

It is important to note that whilst your van is termed e.g. a 12 foot by the manufacturer, because of its shape it may require an 11 foot or 13 foot awning to fit correctly.
