Thetford Fridge Installation Manual

Special notice. Thetford and by association all gas fridges are not recommended for use in a house. The fridges have to be fitted in leisure vehicles where there is a flue and underfloor ventilation. If you plan to use the fridge on gas then Thetford do not recommend that you use it in a house. I pressed Thetford on the point even to asking if it were flued in a house and the reply was the same ...... "We do not recommend that you use a Thetford fridge in a house"

Fridge Note re gas operation.

When a gas operated fridge is used in very cold weather there is no thermostatic switch off . The fridge could easily freeze the milk! The fridge is not faulty and the only way to overcome the problem during a freezing cold night is to turn off the fridge.

At the start of the season if the fridge will not work turn it upside down!
